Our newest addition! Jeeves is Sunshine and Baggins' son from our latest litter and we are hoping he will have a long and illustrious career here!!
Jeeves is 10 months old now...and he's STILL growing!! Yikes! He's reached the "knobbly knees" stage of teendom, and is showing every sign of being fully mature about 4 or 5. He's started trailing training, which seems to be helping him figure out where his feet are, and is doing 30 minute to 1 hour old trails. He's pretty good, although he still have flashes of "tracking, tracking, tracking....oooOOoooo ....shiny Butterfly!!!!!" when he can't keep his mind on his work. ADHD LOL Attention Deficient HOUND Disorder!! He's a sweet, good natured dog though, not pushy at all. He's going to be fun in the show ring in a few years, but right now....I think we'll find other things to do for a bit while he matures.
BOWs at Tioga.....he did fine until the judge leaned down over him to check his bite & Jeeves couldn't resist kissing him! Got a lovely complement there...."Nice head, Lovely topline and.....um.....I am sure that his movement will improve when he discovers he has legs!!!" LOL Yep.....Mr J is officially in adolescence!!
Syracuse...another point! He sat politely every time the judge came near, but that's part of learning obedience! I hope to have him entered this summer in Rally Novice, and maybe even the new Begginner obedience classes! 18 months old now <sigh> brain cells aren't grown yet, but I have hopes!
Jeeves first leg in Rally Novice was at Newcastle over Memorial Day weekend with a 93....good job! He's ABM now (All But Majors) so we're waiting for him to grow up.
Jeeves got his MT in June, 2011...one of only 2 dogs to qualify all weekend!
